Registration Procedures

Students who would like to attend summer school must register via their home school counselor. The home school counselor will register the student using a web-based registration and Student Information System.  Registrations for summer school can begin after June 1st.  Please check with home school guidance Department on their office hours.   North Rockland School District residents can only register at North Rockland High School.

Students who only want to take an August Regents Exam must also register via the home school counselor in the same manner as students taking a summer school course.

Questions about schedules, placements, and other information related to summer school should be directed to the home school counselor, not to BOCES.

Students who do not attend a participating school district but whose parents reside in a Rockland County school district MUST: 1. Obtain a letter on school letterhead signed by their home school principal stating the necessary courses and include the student’s NYS Student ID number. 2. Register (and make payment, if applicable) in the high school or middle school guidance office in your participating district. Students can also register at the summer school office beginning Monday, July 2. Deadline for course registration is 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6. (Summer School office will be closed July 4.) 3. Students MUST bring photo ID, copy of report card, copy of IEP/504 (if applicable), and money order or certified bank check (if applicable) payable to: Haverstraw-Stony Point Central School District in order to register.

Deadlines to enroll in the six week class is Friday, July 6th.

Deadline to register for Review Course or NY State Regents Exam is Friday, July 20th.
